Maria Eriksson

Maria Eriksson is a Swedish filmmaker. She completed her master's in film direction at the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts.

In the past decade, she has shot several short films that have been selected to screen at festivals around the world. While still at school she took up the challenge of working with child actors, gaining knowledge she then used in her graduation work Schoolyard Blues (2016) and her thesis Directing Children.
