Terril Calder

Biographie

Born in Fort Frances, Canada, she studied fine art at the University of Manitoba, majoring in drawing with a focus on performance art and film. She became a member of the Video Pool media arts centre in Winnipeg where she exhibited her sculpture and performance art work. In 1992 she relocated to Toronto where she co-founded the 7a*11d International Festival of Performance Art. She is a lecturer and mentor in animation. Her short films have won numerous awards including an Honourable Mention at the Sundance Film Festival for Choke.
