Lee Pace

LEE PACE starred in the 2003 Sundance hit, Soldier's Girl, written by Ron Nyswaner and directed by Frank Pierson. His breakthrough performance garnered Pace a Golden Globe® nomination, an Independent Spirit Award nomination and a Gotham Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Performance.

Pace's film credits also include Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, in which he starred opposite Amy Adams and Frances McDormand, and The Good Shepherd, directed by Robert De Niro, starring Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Alec Baldwin, John Turturro and William Hurt.

Additionally, Pace starred in Tarsem Singh's The Fall, as well as in the Douglas McGrath film Infamous, starring Toby Jones, Sandra Bullock, Daniel Craig, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sigourney Weaver and Jeff Daniels. Pace was also seen in the Merchant/Ivory feature, The White Countess, opposite Ralph Fiennes and Natasha Richardson. Pace filmed The Resident, opposite Hillary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

On the small screen, Pace starred in the Emmy®-nominated ABC series Pushing Daisies. He was also seen on the FOX series Wonderfalls, opposite Caroline Dhavernas.

Pace received his BFA from The Juilliard School's Drama Division. He starred in the critically- acclaimed Off-Broadway play, Guardians, opposite Kate Moenning, for which he was nominated for the Lucille Lortel Award. He was also praised for his performance in The Credeaux Canvas, directed by Michael Mayer, as well as for being part of the Vineyard production of The Fourth Sister, written by Janusz Glowacki. Pace performed in a limited engagement of the Off-Broadway production of Small Tragedy, written by Craig Lucas. Small Tragedy won an Obie® Award for Best Ensemble and Pace was nominated in the Outstanding Actor category of the Lucille Lortel Awards.

Born in Oklahoma, Pace spent his early years living in the Middle East where his father was in the oil business in Saudi Arabia. His family moved back to the United States to live in New Orleans and Houston. Pace attended high school in Houston, where he began acting. He became so involved with his craft that he dropped out of high school to perform at the local Alley Theatre. After completing his high school courses, Pace was accepted at Juilliard, where he studied between 1997 and 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During this time, Pace honed his skills in such classic roles as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, the title role in Richard II and as Cassius in Julius Caesar.
