Biographie

DAVID BOWERS directed box office hit DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: RODRICK RULES and the acclaimed animated features "Flushed Away" and "Astro Boy."

Bowers began his career in England working on "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and the hit TV show "Danger Mouse." He joined Steven Spielberg's Amblimation Studio and worked as an animator on the features "An American Tail: Fievel Goes West" and "Balto," before moving to Los Angeles, where he worked at the newly-established DreamWorks Animation. Bowers was a story artist on "The Prince of Egypt" and the storyboard supervisor on Aardman Animation's first feature, "Chicken Run." Other credits include the Academy Award®-winning "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were Rabbit" and "Shark Tale."
