Biographie

Jaroslav Baran (1957) is a Slovak animator, director, and educator. He studied architecture in Bratislava, where he then worked for a long time at the Studio of Animated Film. He's made dozens of animated films, children's bedtime stories, and serials, of which we'll mention The Monument (1984), Jurošík (1989–1994), Fairy-Tales from the Old House (Rozprávky zo starého domu, 1995), and Ovce.sk (2009). He's worked on international productions. His portfolio of animated commercials is also quite rich.
