Biographie

He is the producer of the high profile retelling of the classic: All Quiet on the Western Front, directed by Edward Berger and starring Daniel Brühl, for Netflix. His film Sergio, also for Netflix, world premiered at Sundance and was released in 2020. His film career began with the Oscar nominated No, directed by Pablo Larraín, starring Gael García Bernal, an inspiring film that won the Directors‘ Fortnight in Cannes (2012). Also produced You’ll Never Be Alone, a Teddy award winner at Berlinale 2016, Orphans of Eldorado (2017), based on the novel by famed author Milton Hatoum, played prestige-festivals like Chicago and Warsaw, Spanish Civil War themed Guernica (2015), starring James D’Arcy, Maria Valverde, Jack Davenport produced for Sony International. He has served as juror for the Queer Palm division of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and has been on the jury in Sao Paulo, sanfic, Rio Film Festival and various other festivals throughout the world. He served as the Representative for the Rio Film Commission in the US.
