Winner of the ShoWest Newcomer of the Year Award in 1999, Giovanni Ribisi has since established himself as a popular screen presence capable of playing a wide variety of roles. Ribisi was recently seen in GK Films’ The Rum Diary, based on Hunter S. Thompson’s novel. It is the story of a journalist who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in Puerto Rico.
