Mexican director, editor, and producer. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Guadalajara’s school of Audiovisual Arts and Sound. His documentary Aurelia y Pedro won the Special Jury Mention at the 66th edition of Berlinale, the 2017 Ariel Award, and received a Student Academy Award nomination. In 2016, besides participating in Talents Guadalajara, he obtained a grant from FONCA to write the fiction film Las Caldas Perdidas, and from CECA Jalisco for the production of Los Desterrados Hijos de Eva. In 2017, he received the Jalisco State Youth Award for his merits in the cultural field. He is collaborating with the Department of Image and Sound as an assistant professor of the Documentary Production branch and in the production of Territorios Interiores, an annual academic project that launches the creation of documentary shorts in different regions of Jalisco. With his production company, Tardígrada, he is involved in the production of different fiction and documentary film projects, throughout Mexico.
