Biographie
Kazakh filmmaker Yerlan Nurmukhambetov is a graduate of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts. His short films include Pay to (1999), Love and Shoes (1999), Sunday (2000), Friday (2001), Paris (2001), Kyz Uhrlau (2002) and Overture (2008). He co-directed the feature Anshi Bala (2011). Walnut Tree is his feature directorial debut.
