Born in Kurdistan, Hussein Hassan is not only engaged in directing and writing movies, but is also a passionate actor. The full-length movie "Mardan" (2014) by Batin Ghobadi, in which he played a lead character, celebrated its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada in 2014.
