Graduated from the department of journalism at MGU and went to Chernobyl, which was recovering after the accident. She worked in the department of information and international relations and hosted radio programs for the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Then she started working at the Film Department of the Central TV, worked at the program "Film Subscription", reviews of festival animation and animated movies in general. Since 1993 has been living in France. Founded her own art gallery in Paris. In recent years she has started to write scripts. "Testament" is Nadezhda's second directorial work.
