Biographie

Maite Alberdi studied Cinema and Film Aesthetics at the Universidad Católica de Chile. She has written and directed the full-length documentaries El salvavidas (2011), La once (2014), winner of awards at several international festivals, and Los niños (2016), as well as the short films, also documentaries, Las peluqueras (2005), Los trapecistas (2008) and No soy de aquí (2016), winner of Best Short Film at Visions du Réel 2016. El agente topo (The Mole Agent) was selected for San Sebastian Festival’s Co-Production Forum in 2017 and had its premiere in the World Cinema Documentary Competition at the Sundance Festival.
