Chucho E. Quintero studied screenwriting and directing. He has been involved in Art Direction in short films directed by mexican directors. He created a production company called HomeComing RC with Rodrigo Trejo. Quintero screened his short film Simple (2010) and his first independent feature film, Six Pack, both in Mix Mexico Film Festival. He also won the IMJUVE Award for Best Mexican Director Under 30 at the same festival for his short film Félix et le poisson.
