Biographie

Sofia Lesaffre made her film debut in 2011 in Denis Thybaud's Mythos, before landing the female lead in Didier Bourdon and Bernard Campan's The Three Brothers: The Return in 2014. The latter earned her a preselection for the César for Most Promising Actress. She went on to star in David Moreau's Alone and Salima Glamine and Dimitri Linder's multi-award-winning For a Happy Life. She also appeared in Ladj Ly's Cannes award-winning Les Misérables. In 2019, she plays the role of a deaf-mute in Earth and Blood, directed by Julien Leclercq, whom she would later reunite with in the series Ganglands, released in 2021 on Netflix. The following year, she starred in Frédéric Videau's According to the police, alongside Laetitia Casta, Benoît Mariage's Habib alongside Catherine Deneuve,and Alice Winocour's Paris Memories along side Virginie Efira. In 2023, Sofia Lesaffre presented Sébastien Vaniček's first genre film Vermin at several festivals. She also starred in Jeremy Clapin's film Meanwhile on Earth, as well as in Hervé Hadmar's series Home-Jacking.
