Biographie

Matthew Dixon was selected for Sundance's Writers Lab and Filmmakers Lab with his first screenplay, Starry Night. The script was one of only two sponsored by Sundance that year for the Independent Film Project's "No Borders" conference. His television pilot,The Glass Hotel, is currently optioned by HBO. He directed the documentary Under God, about Michael Newdow representing himself before the Supreme Court to have "under God" removed from the Pledge of Allegiance. His first play, Blackout, was produced at the Samuel Beckett on theater row in New York. He's a founding member of two theater companies and directed numerous plays. A lifetime member of the Actors Studio, he's acted extensively in theater, film and television.
