Daniel Giat's screenplays for PATH TO WAR (HBO, 2002) and BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE (HBO, 2007) combined for 32 Emmy and GoldenGlobe nominations, includeing two Emmy nominations for Daniel.
He was nominated for a Writers' Guild award for BURY MY HEART and won the esteemed Humanitas Prize for his work. The movie was awarded the Emmy for best television motion picture in 2007.
