Biographie

At only 17 years old, Khylin Rhambo is positioned to be 'one to watch' in the entertainment industry this year. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the Palmdale area, Khylin always had an interest in the entertainment industry. He took his first acting class at eight years old, and was hooked.

Growing up his family would watch movies while his father would type up a scene, print it outand the kids would perform it in the living room. Their home quickly became a place for Khylin to practice his love for acting and hone his skills. He broke into the business as a model, booking major campaigns for Lee Jeans, Hasbro Toys, and Disney, as well as filming a commercial for Disney Connected. Modeling and commercials were fun, but Khylin longed to try his hand at television and film.

At 14 years old, he booked his first guest star role on BET's "Reed Between the Lines," opposite Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Tracee Ellis Ross. He quickly landed another guest star spot on CBS' hit series "Criminal Minds" in a role that showcased his growing acting chops. Khylin appeared as 'Damon Weeks,' a troubled street smart teen whose best friend was brutally murdered. 2011 was a banner year for Khylin, not only booking these two guest star roles, but also landing his supporting role in Summit Entertainment's ENDER'S GAME, as 'Dink Meeker.' The film took up most of his time in 2011, leading in 2012.

In 2012, Khylin booked the series regular role of 'Charles Johnson' on "The First Family" for BET's Centric. They debuted season one on September 22, 2012. Created by Byron Allen and produced by Entertainment Studios, the series follows an African American family as they adjust to living in the White House. Khylin's character 'Charles' is the eldest son of president William Johnson [played by Christopher B. Duncan], a good natured teen who tries really hard to be suave, and often times ends up coming off as awkwardly funny.
