Julien Faraut

In 2000 he graduated with a Master’s in History from the University of Paris-Nanterre. He has worked in the French Sports Institute (INSEP) for fifteen years, during which he has been in charge of the Centre’s collection of 16 mm films. Taking advantage of this work, he has made several of his own works from those films, in which he links subjects such as sport, cinema and art. His film L’empire de la perfection was presented at the Berlinale in 2018.
