The Terror - Le Lieutenant Gore (2018) (épisode)

anglais Either I wasn’t in the right mood for the second episode, or the creators are setting me up for disappointment. While the story has a gloomy atmosphere, it’s not nearly as intense as I had imagined. There was hardly any tension, not even during the first monster attack. Plus, I felt there were too many dull moments.

The Terror - Jouer son va-tout (2018) (épisode)

anglais The show promises a dense atmosphere, plenty of tension, and hopefully some spine-chilling moments. So far, it delivered exactly what I expected from a pilot — an introduction to the plot, a rundown of the main characters, and the perfect weather to watch on a hot summer day.

Lucifer - Parole de diable (2018) (épisode)

anglais The creators decided to drown the finale in a flood of sappy sentimentality. Since I can't stand cheap emotional manipulation, I couldn't rate it higher than four stars.

Lucifer - Du Deckerstar tout craché (2018) (épisode)

anglais After two terrible missteps, the creators finally got back to the show I love, reassuring me they haven't all had lobotomies. It's a shame they decided to remove the character that brought the most fun lately. Let's see where things go from here.

Lucifer - L'Enterrement de vie de jeune fille (2018) (épisode)

anglais If the previous episode felt like a soap opera, this one just cemented that feeling. The season has completely shifted — gone is the easygoing humor and breeziness. Instead, the creators are wallowing in ridiculous relationship twists and trying to pull at heartstrings for no good reason. Not great. 2*-

Lucifer - La Compétition (2018) (épisode)

anglais Ugh... Please, not like this. I have a big problem with this episode because the Lucifer-Chloe-Pierce love triangle is giving me major soap opera vibes. The humor is vanishing, replaced by some cheap romantic drama. I really hope this was just a one-time misstep.

Lucifer - L'Ange de San Bernardino (2018) (épisode)

anglais The concept of rental families definitely has potential. I enjoyed Mazikeen’s attempt to get back to her old job and Charlotte’s shift away from asceticism. For the first time in a while, I felt like the series was getting back to what works for me.

Lucifer - Maze en colère (2018) (épisode)

anglais Episode nineteen felt a bit better than the previous one, but the humor I love is slowly fading from the show. The plot centered around Mazikeen, my favorite character, but it just didn't hit the mark like it used to. I'm used to better episodes.

Lucifer - Les Cœurs brisés (2018) (épisode)

anglais I have mixed feelings about this episode. The investigation and Pierce’s trip down memory lane were enjoyable, but the relationship drama is starting to get on my nerves. I was glad to see Charlotte finally getting some answers — hopefully, this will kick the plot into high gear. 4*-

Lucifer - Sous les projecteurs (2018) (épisode)

anglais This episode was a bit weaker than the last one. I enjoyed the investigation and the drama around the "amazing" singer, but the relationship stuff, usually a highlight thanks to Mazikeen, didn’t grab me this time. Even my favorite demon was a bit of a letdown. 4*-
