Let's imagine for a moment what it would be like if all of the climactic scenes of this film were based on the daily routine of an ordinary bald guy, like me. I would wake up in the morning, smash my only TV set to smithereens, then out of boredom steal five cars and one police motorcycle, ride around town in a hospital gown that doesn't cover everything, have sex with a beautiful girl in public (and get the applause of a group of Japanese, or more likely Roma in our country) and finally jump out of a helicopter and hastily call my mother to tell her not to worry, that God is still counting on me for the second episode (sorry, day). ... I know, it's a movie, and I'm not saying I wouldn't enjoy something like that myself at some point in my life, but everything has its limits, which are sort of forgotten here – though in this case that's actually a good thing :) 65%

Distinctive, atmospheric, surprising. Orphan rides the first two acts in a well-trodden path, only to turn into an uncompromising knockout for all those who dared to doubt its potential. A bit simple and naive, but an excellently acted, psychologically refined and spooky fable about a cute little girl's nose, which has something to offer even after repeated screenings thanks to its brilliant direction... 80%

Quite insane, but watchable and entertaining mainly thanks to Miroslav Donutil's performance. Had any another actor been in his place, the funny scenes and gags would not have been nearly as hilarious and the whole film would have fallen even lower. 60%

An enjoyable and light-hearted comedy with a likable Bud Spencer, who, unlike in some of his films with Terrence Hill, doesn't play such a grumpy guy and shows his comedic talents to the full. It's been a long time since I last saw it, but I still remember the pile of battered criminals (brilliant final brawl), overturned tables and broken windows...... and that's what Spencer movies are all about.

An excellent comedy that doesn't pretend to be anything great or intelligent, but importantly, maintains the highest level of entertainment throughout. The great Hill and Spencer once again excel in a story set on a small island inhabited by quirky natives and offer the viewer countless imaginative brawls and great gags. For me, it's simply the perfect film to fill a drizzly Sunday afternoon, and all those who gave it less than three stars must have been having a very bad day when they watched it.

Today this film is an action classic, but it failed to dazzle me enough to draw me into the plot. And that's despite the well crafted and brisk screenplay and the great Sylvester Stallone, whose role as a retired war hero fighting against a handful of lawmen deserves nothing but thumbs up and admiration for his successful traps. But when the film leaves the dark and suspenseful environment of the woods and Rambo isn't hiding behind a tree with his hunting knife, it's not that good and the ending didn't feel very spectacular or original. In any case, there is almost no boredom and the action is more than satisfying, so 80%.

An unforgettable half-hour.

A good idea with great execution, but it still failed to engage me enough to pull me into the plot. I'm quite sorry, because animated films are usually great entertainment and relaxation for me, but this strange movie failed to work somehow and even though it flows quite fast and there are some really great ideas and jokes, I can't help but give it a 3.

One of my favourite Czechoslovak fairytales, which once again shows the world the great actors of our small country. In particular, the "Oscar-worthy" Vladimír Menšík in a bear disguise is really worth seeing.

A classic that does not reach the quality of the best works of the famous trio of directors, but with its intelligent and omnipresent humour and unforgettable actors still ranks among the absolute best in comedy.
