The Day Is Ours

Drama about friendship, mortality and loss. For the first time in their young lives, three best friends are confronted with death when one of them is diagnosed with a terminal disease. In an attempt to come to grips with his approaching decease and the fretful situation, one of the boys decides to organise a visit to a slaughterhouse. There, what should have been a playful and spontaneous adventure turns into a full-grown search for real answers. (Nederlands Film Festival)
