In a dazzling animated collage, director Colburn presents a condensed impression of Amsterdam, featuring tulips, nudity, trams, Rembrandt and coffee shops. Photographs, drawings, paintings and mini-animations tumble over each other. Images are mirrored and repeated, to an electronic beat. Streets collapse, bollards are omnipresent and between times, portraits of Dutch celebrities fly past. (Nederlands Film Festival)
