Hamlet the Russian way? As it turns out, why not? It works both because it's very well-acted and because the sets are so well done. It doesn't stray from the theatrical approach; it's not needlessly grandiose. On the contrary, there's an emphasis on the idea, which is crucial in this tragedy. The Russians did a great job with this. ()
