Franz, dit « Fox », forain au chômage, drague Max, antiquaire qui va l'introduire dans la société homosexuelle bourgeoise. Ayant gagné au loto, Franz tombe sous la coupe d'Eugen, qui pille son compte en banque tout en essayant de lui inculquer les bonnes manières. Mais Franz ne peut cacher ses origines prolétariennes dans ce monde bourgeois et hypocrite. Bientôt ruiné, il sera abandonné par ses amis de la veille... (Carlotta Films)

I like self-destructive films and this is one of them. Rainer Werner Fassbinder showed here how interesting he was as a creator, both in the field of directing and screenwriting, as well as acting. This is his concert, where he lets criticism of society and individuals shine through. At the same time, he does not use any melodramatic tools.
