Lylas (2020) (S01E01)

anglais The pilot brought a lot of things/ activities/ people that I don't really like, and yet he presented it in such a way that I was completely fine. Throughout the whole time, I didn't get angry even once; instead, I just stared in disbelief at that typical tough guy portrayed by Monica Raymund. ()

Dans un sale état (2020) (S01E02)

anglais It's certainly not an action-packed show, but I'm oddly enjoying it. The plot development of this episode kept me engaged, and before I knew it, the hour had flown by. Can't wait for the next one! ()

A la dure (2020) (S01E03)

anglais I couldn't shake the feeling that the episode was stuck in a loop. While I learned how to hunt down future informants, the overall story didn't progress much. It was more about who did whom, where, and how. ()

La M.B.O. (2020) (S01E04)

anglais Unlike before, I didn't feel like this episode was just filler. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I suspect the successful intervention against the shrimp pirates served only to bring Jackie back on track. ()

Tu te sentiras mieux que jamais (2020) (S01E05)

anglais I oscillated between three and four stars because the episode focused mainly on drinking and drugs, with only sporadic moments of substance. However, the conclusion ultimately swayed me towards a favorable rating. 4*- ()

La Baleine blanche (2020) (S01E06)

anglais I thoroughly enjoyed the plot; it moved forward seamlessly, devoid of unnecessary diversions that could lead to boredom. And to top it off, I've finally found my favorite character in the mix. ()

Tout le monde a un cousin à Miami (2020) (S01E07)

anglais I won't sugarcoat it: there were moments where the story hit some rough patches (logic took a backseat, and the creators seemed to bend it to fit their narrative - and when that failed, they conveniently ignored it). But despite these flaws, I enjoyed the episode overall, so I'm not going to nitpick. ()

#Béni (2020) (S01E08)

anglais The season finale left me with mixed feelings. While I anticipated an open ending setting the stage for the next season, the resolution in the eighth episode felt disappointingly simplistic. Why delve into deeper complexities when it's so easy, right? ()
