Nkiruka

Nkiruka, an insecure African American woman, discovers the meaning of her name as she struggles to go beyond her family’s dysfunctional legacy of broken relationships and single motherhood; and receive the only thing she truly wants – love. Believing him to be out with another woman on her Valentine's Day, Nkiruka breaks up with her boyfriend when he fails to meet her for dinner. After months of separation, as events would have it, Nkiruka discovers that she is the problem. Can she get her boyfriend back; or has he moved on? Nkiruka is an Igbo (Nigeria) girl's name that means - the best is yet to come. (Pan African Film Festival)
