Test Drive

Dylan, a father in his thirties, wants the purest father-son relationship with his estranged son Jack. But because he doubts his ability to be a good father, he covers up who he really is. Jack comes to visit for the weekend and when Dylan tries to take him surfing, Jack gets stung by a jellyfish. Dylan does all he can to remedy the wound and while doing so, he realizes that Jack does trust him and appreciates him for who he really is. (Hawaii International Film Festival)
