When Lauren and her son Jacob return to her childhood home for the holidays, her hopes for a quiet break are dashed when she runs into single dad, and Christmas super-fan, Ben Summers. Despite it being the holidays, all Lauren wants to do is work on getting that big promotion at her company. However, when Ben has to pick up the Christmas present he bought for his daughter, he enlists Lauren to help him hide it… her quiet vacation is quickly disrupted when the gift she needs to hide is an adorable Corgi puppy who instantly begins to turn her life upside down. As Lauren and Ben spend more and more time together hiding the puppy, Ben begins to show her that life, and especially the holidays, are not about work or promotions, but about family and spending time with the people you love. anglais A Very Corgi Christmas has a very TV movie feel to it, with a predictable story and stilted performances of almost everyone involved. It is worth seeing mainly for the cute corgi and the unforced portrayal of the Christmas atmosphere. Otherwise, it is basically a snowy dog version of any Rosamund Pilcher film. ()
