Short drama for the younger audience, set in Largs, on the south west coast of Scotland. Ten-year-old Kriselle lives with her dad, who manages a rundown seaside theatre. After school and during the holidays, Kriselle helps her dad, Mackie, with the running of it, along with her cheeky best pal, Roland. Kriselle is wise beyond her years, and has a hankering for being on stage herself - but something is holding her back: the theatre is fast losing money, and Mackie worries that it may have to close down. Then, Kriselle has a brainwave: wouldn't the audience love to see a show with Frangipane, the biggest star around? When the glamorous and exotic Frangipane turns up, things don't go as smoothly as Kriselle hoped. And as the big performance night looms, it's chaos - can Kriselle save the day, and, with Roland, save the theatre? And do she and Frangipane have more in common than they could ever have imagined?
