The protagonist's life appears to have been going quite well. But suddenly, everything she had been struggling for started to fall apart. The man she loved was arrested, her child sent to boarding school, and she herself ended up in mental hospital. Betrayals, disillusion and lost love - how is she to find the strength to carry on living when the very purpose of life seems to be fading away? But finally, after the storm, a rainbow - an unexpected meeting with a person even more unfortunate than she gives her a feeling of beeing needed, and this gives her new hope. The sequel also has several side plots involving events that are both sad and funny, sometimes threatening despair and at other times offering hope. But it is love that is the main ingredient of the story. Love can bring pain and ruin , but it can offer happiness and cure as well. Love can change everything. (Star Media)
