Sergey works as a guard for a private security firm. One day, on his way home, he is shot while trying to protect a civilian being attacked. It turns out that the man whose life he has saved, is a famous banker called Bachyurin and, after Sergey recovers, Bachyurin offers him a job as his personal bodyguard. Later, Sergey discovers that Bachyurin's wife Yulia is his ex-lover who had refused to marry him because of his dangerous job. Yulia, now pregnant, begs Sergey not to disclose their affair to her husband. However, when Yulia dies in a tragic accident and the baby is in need of an urgent bone marrow transplant, Bachyurin's paternity is called into question as it appears that Sergey is a perfect match.
But the story does not stop there - later Sergey discovers that he was adopted as a baby... (Star Media)
