A child who lives with his parent in a lost city comes face to face with violence in a poor area. When the police arrest his drunken father, the boy goes to work for an old man, owner of a cage of trained birds. The old man becomes ill and the boy escapes with the cage. As he runs, he falls, the cage breaks open and the birds escape. Frightened, he squats in a corner thinking the whole world is against him until he meets some boys from the underclass. He goes with them and they smoke marijuana. With them he feels safe and in his hand we see a knife. (Huesca International Film Festival)
