The ghost of a dead woman stays with a random family in Singapore waiting for her reincarnation, while her ageing parents, despite their sadness about her death, resume their lives. Another woman travels to New York where, with the last letter from her lover to guide her, she immerses herself in memories of their abruptly broken relationship.
