Unlike the stylistically distinctive and entertaining first episode, this one is "just" a focused and brilliantly acted build-up to a sense of helplessness and inevitability (of what Patrick will become in the future), but it's still hard to take your eyes off of it, and every scene is absolutely correct given the complex psychological portrait of a personality that will surely continue to play a key role in the series. That is a surprise! The second episode did not bring any humor, unlike the previous part, but it intensified even more. The atmosphere was thick like fog around Rákosníček's pond, thanks to the time travel I could get to know the character of the kind-hearted David Melrose better and the amazing relationships in his family. Hugo Weaving brilliantly replaced the absent Benedict Cumberbatch and I had a great time again. ()
