The Broken Ones

Andrea Kelly, a troubled and closed off young artist in her mid twenties is grappling with being placed by her overbearing mother Janet (Margaret Colin) in a sober living house in the suburbs of New Jersey, after a string of bad decisions, alcohol and drug abuse. One afternoon fate introduces her to an equally troubled young man attempting suicide by train. She takes it upon herself to show him the meaning of life through a course of events throughout the night. It isn’t until they end up in New York City that the night takes a turn for the worst and she is faced with darker demons then she was ready for. (Orlando Film Festival)
