Martín is the last inhabitant of Auzal, a village in the mountains where he lives in communion with nature. He only goes down to the valleys twice a year to trade and to buy provisions. But one day he has a fleeting, torrid encounter with Joxepi, "the miller", that disrupts all his plans. A torrent of new feelings whirl around in someone who until now was a lone wolf. anglais The camera in this film overshadowed everything else, be it the subject matter or the story. The shots here are so beautiful that they will make you bate your breath. The story, however, is supposed to shock you with its portrayal of narrow-mindedness, but the viewer is left mostly unmoved due to the lack of dialogues. ()
