Those Were the Days

A solitary man leading a donkey is turned away at a restaurant door, he and the beast walk down to “La Maison du Vin” where, despite a “no donkeys” sign, they enter and the man proceeds to feed the donkey. His care and feeding of the animal impresses the woman singing with the band – she and the visitor connect, but who will watch the donkey if they slip away? (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival)
