In 2009, a group of partisan soldiers led by Commander France decide to free the Italian city of Trieste. Most of all, France is worried because the younger generation, among whom is his daughter Mateja, doesn’t want to accept partisan history and the values of many generations before them. Which side will Mateja choose and will the Italian city of Trieste be Slovenian again? (Camerimage)
