Return to Paradise Lost

Vojtěch Jasny's poetic work follows up several motifs brought out thirty years ago in his All My Good Countrymen. He combines them with the autobiographical story of a man who considers coming back to the country of his birth after long years of exile. The filmmaker rather unconventionally adopts a 'musical' structure for the three independent 'movements.' The work brings across a highly humanitarian message. (texte officiel du distributeur)
