Natasha is a middle-aged admin employee at a zoo where her female co-workers take pleasure in making fun of her. She lives with her God-fearing mother and leads a dull existence without prospects, until one day she grows a tail. Medical examinations follow where she meets Peter, a young radiologist and her dreary life is turned upside down. (Arrow Films)

anglais Tverdovskij doesn’t get much out of it. It's basically an idea for a short, which the full-length runtime does not help. Anyone looking forward to a radical metaphor of Russia or a provocative look at the sexuality of the old virgin will only get a few scenes that are close to folk fun. I was expecting more. #kviff2016 ()

anglais Well... I accept that this movie is trying to convey some sort of idea. I just think that some ideas should stay ideas and do not necessarily need to be filmed. The film appears quite interesting and unique, but on the other hand I had trouble trying to ignore how stupid this movie is and just watching the metaphor. ()
