Chuck Rhoades est un procureur intègre de New York. Alerté par une source d'information parallèle, il en vient à soupçonner un délit d'initié. Un patient jeu du chat et de la souris débute alors avec le dénommé Bobby Axelrod. Séduisant et auréolé de son statut de survivant du 11 septembre, ce dernier travaille pour plusieurs fonds d'investissement américains. Ses décisions et ses prises de participation laissent planer de nombreux doutes quant à ses activités. La commission des opérations de bourse ne cache pas ses soupçons. Rhoades refuse toutefois de l'inculper sans preuve. C'est alors que Dan Margolis, un vieil ami d'Axe, refait surface... (Groupe Canal+)

Absence of good guys, unpredictability, machinations and intrigues in the world of big finance. The characters will probably go a long way in future episodes, and the whole thing will probably go back and forth 20 times, but the pilot already lays it out so well that it will be fun to watch every twist and turn. Let’s get on with it, then.

After watching the pilot episode, I knew I was in for a treat. This show set in the world of high finance is definitely up my alley. I'm thoroughly impressed with the cast and the storyline, and I'm eagerly anticipating a hefty dose of intrigue. I've always enjoyed stories without traditional heroes, and it looks like this one will have very few, if any.
