Paramicha

The old Gypsy man, Glonczi Miklós, with a bewitching personality, is about to undergo an unusual experiment. Utilising his eidetic capabilities, a device attached to his head would make his memories visible. Glonczi, however, escapes from the experiment in the general confusion. The doctors suspect the continuously shooting documentary film-makers. Uncle Kálmán promises the film-makers to lead them to the Gypsy man, but eventually cannot find him. A young girl shows them his hiding place. Glonczi can now no longer live without the machine. He is desperately searching for something, perhaps an old memory. The film-makers help him. The arriving doctors have him taken to hospital, where he undergoes a brain-operation. A released Glonczi is perhaps alive, perhaps dead. The film-makers disappear.
