Simon, whose life is meaningless and filled with anxiety, is deeply despressed and is having suicidal thoughts. He has no friends, no family, and people at work barely notice him, except for when he has done something wrong. A woman appears in his life as well as in his dreams. She blurs the borders between reality and a dream; is she just part of his imagination, trying to save him, or is she personified? Simon has to choose betwen life and death.
