A 24 ans, Syd (Radha Mitchell) décroche le poste dont elle rêvait au sein du prestigieux magazine photo Frame. Mais, malgré sa récente promotion et ses longues heures de travail, elle continue pourtant à aller chercher les cafés pour les autres... Un soir, alors qu'elle se détend dans sa baignoire après une longue journée au bureau, elle découvre une fuite au plafond. C'est à cette occasion, que Syd rencontre sa voisine du dessus.
