Two sisters who do not live in a loving family. The mother is an alcoholic and problematic, and the daughters take care of her more than she takes care of them. They don't have a father, and if they do, he's some kind of jerk that the mother is with only for a while. The girls want to be together and they want a slightly better world for themselves. Maybe the one they dreamed of. And so they decide to take action. Interesting moments mainly between the sisters, but otherwise very clichéd scenes that lead to their slow-paced finale, which could put you to sleep. The emotions are there, but they are hidden. It reminds one too much of "Heavenly Creatures", which is more imaginative and powerful. ()
