Otto Frank's office was buzzing with news of the Nazis. Fear, especially among the Franks and their other Jewish friends, was growing. With no other safe options left, Otto went to his trusted employee, Miep Gies (Mary Steenburgen), for help. And so began a life of hiding, tucked away in the attic above the business, a courageous Miep providing them with living essentials. As the war raged on outside, Miep developed a unique connection with Otto's youngest, Anne, encouraging her to journal and bringing her notebooks until the Nazis finally discovered their secret. Now all that remains are the words of a charismatic girl, confined by war, but not by spirit. (Echo Bridge Entertainment)
