The Plain Old Maid

!!!Don't read the content here, be surprised!!! You will be indeed. The Plain Old Maid is a downright beautiful film. In it, an unmistakable accountant played by Dana Medřická arrives to investigate an embezzlement in a Liberec publishing house and gradually melts under the care of the worldly editor Karel Höger. If you're thinking now that you already know what's going to happen anyway, maybe you're right and maybe you're not. In the end, it's about much more than just money. The film has an almost noir atmosphere and I must say that I haven't seen a more impressive romantic scene than the one with the trip to Ještěd in a long time. (06/09/2015)
