In May 1935, Victofilm commissioned Eugène Deslaw to edit and add sound effects to a number of pre-war films distributed by Gaumont. His name, therefore, appears in the the credits of many of them, despite the fact that he was merely the director of the sound version. Among the more interesting is a surrealistic story of a man who, after eating bull meat, grows horns and stampedes through the streets of Paris like a man-bull.
