I am aware that in reality, the physical dilemmas did not only occur in the comparison between Einstein and Newton and in the hatred towards Germany. But E&E is filmed so sensitively that I gladly refrain from any detailed examination of facts and nitpicking in deviations. Serkis's eccentricity and Tennant's shyness and determination are acted convincingly enough that every emotion from them reaches me fully, and thanks to the two of them, the film portrays a very heartfelt image of an extraordinary alliance. Television is small in comparison to this connection of souls.
