Ninfa fluida

We listen to an eighteenth-century poem by the Rotterdam bard Dirk Smits, that regales the myth of the Rotte river. While we hear the stream being likened to a shapeshifting nymph, we see images of the mysterious flatworm. Behind this tiny, writhing water creature, lies a wonderous world of regeneration and the microscopically small worm as an important object of scientific study. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
